Owner Laurie Stevens has been in the graphics business for over 35 years.

After working in advertising, publishing and printing industries in some fashion for ten years, Laurie founded D’Visions typesetting and graphics with traditional typesetting equipment in 1985 and later updated to a Macintosh front-end system in 1989.

Operating from a home based office has enabled D’Visions to maintain competitive prices, and unreasonable hours. The trend in technological development has only reinforced the benefits of operating from home.

Laurie was joined recently by partner Jim Nichols, who has a background in retail sales and marketing with experience in producing printed advertising. They have combined Jim’s internet sales of model train parts, Trains for Brains, with Laurie’s graphics business, D’Visions and compliment and assist each other where the demand is.

When not working in graphics or in model train sales, Jim and Laurie imagine themselves to be truckers.
